Q: I've never skated before. Can I still participate in the program?

A: Of course!  The majority of our students have never been on ice skates prior to the Learn to Play Hockey session.  If you work hard in the practices and listen to the coaches, you will be a hockey player by the finish of the last session.

Q: Do I need to bring any equipment to practice?

A: No.  All the equipment you will need will be provided for you at the rink. 

Q: Do I need a change of clothes for practice?

A: No. You will wear your school clothes under your equipment.  For this reason, we recommend that you avoid wearing baggy clothing on practice days as it makes it more difficult to wear your equipment properly.  Also, try to wear thin tube socks to help assure a better fit for your skate.
