ESYHF partners with local schools to offer the School Day Program to students as part of their physical education curriculum. Students will typically arrive at the rink around 9:30am for a 1 hour on-ice session focusing on basic elements of skating and ice hockey. The program, provided at no cost to students and schools, consists of the following:

• Orientation and equipment fitting
• A full set of hockey equipment for each student
• 6 on-ice sessions incorporating ESYHF's “Words of the Week” educational and character development curriculum
• Opportunities for students to continue playing hockey in ESYHF's after school programs at no cost
