The Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation is seeking interns for the 2008-2009 school year. Fall, spring, and full-year internship opportunities are available.
The mission of the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation is to impact the lives of underserved youngsters in the Greater Philadelphia region by providing a program that incorporates on-ice and off-ice activities. We emphasize partnerships with schools in offering opportunities in ice hockey, character development and educational support. We are also expanding our after-school and educational support programs as well, and require qualified interns to assist us in the evenings and on weekends as well.
Please note that while skating or hockey experience is helpful, it is not required for this position. No interviews will be conducted by phone.
Qualifications Required for Internship Opportunity:
- College juniors, seniors, or graduate students working for earned credits.
- Applicant must be reliable and posses a general willingness to assume any and all jobs with an ability to work in a very high profile situations.
- Candidates must have the ability to creatively and enthusiastically handle demands and work in a fast paced, high volume environment.
- Strong computer skills are needed.
